Everyone's got one

This is what we got for the new place today, so don't give us one (since some of y'all asked). Hee hee. Don't know what it's called in English - it boils water, keeps it warm, and usually comes in a flower or goldfish design. We managed to get a plain one though. :)

Having living abroad for so long, we never thought we'd be owning this water boiler-thing, hence the heightened interest in the appliance. It's actually pretty cool. Ours can heat water at three different temperatures (woooooooo). Guess we've assimilated to life in this part of the world -- from both a practical and cultural (it so Asian lah) standpoint. :P
