Initially thought this was a joke. But no, Bangkok police are implementing a policy where officers will wear a pink Hello Kitty armband as punishment for misdemeanors, such as tardiness and littering. The NY Times reports that, "stronger measures could be next for corruption and extrajudicial killings."
