Tough

PAD protesters have stormed and occupied Government House premises. The government continues to hold on, with no sign of compromise. At this chaotic moment, it's hard to determine if the actions of both sides are right or wrong.

We keep hearing rumors that the police are going to disperse the mob, but so far, no such action has been taken. With tensions rising each passing day, violent clashes are inevitable. It's unlikely a coup will take place though, given the expressed disinvolvement of the military.

Since the seizure, the radio has been on all day, every day; the continuous shouting and rallying are nerve-wracking. The current regime has to get out; I don't see any other outcome as there are many deep-seated, long-standing grievances that brought us to this point.
